Solder and mend
the rays of memories
Extend and defend
while we still have
the last remaining remedies
Drowning in the past
in sleepless nights
Like an enthusiast
watching from great heights
Sunder and divide
our fleeting hope
Echoes amplified
while exiles still elope
In this Elysian Strain
Nothing left to gain
We must cut the chain
Was it all in vain?
In this Elysian Strain
There's nothing left to gain
Redirect your focus
from this shipwreck
When will life end
on this blue speck?
Never question
the architect's arcane knowledge
Feed of the feeble
at the apex
Turns out divinity is flawed
when a simple man became god
I will slither through the muck
Illuding myself
The shimmering stars will
forever spell my name
I've got eternity to fill
with a brand new flame
In this Elysian Strain
Nothing left to gain
We must cut the chain
Was it all in vain?
In this Elysian Strain
There's nothing left to gain
I can't appear
Not here
A promise so dear
made out of fear
I can't appear
Not here
A promise so dear
made out of fear

A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan

I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
